Feeling overwhelmed and lost?

It’s common for the artist or creative person to avoid therapy for fear it might rob them of their creative drive. However, by honoring your need to preserve who you are as an artist, I can help you achieve a more balanced inner and out life, without squelching your creative energy.

It’s natural to feel overwhelmed by the challenges, transitions and disappointments that life brings. This can trigger feelings of sadness, anxiety, or frustration, which can sometimes leave you feeling alienated and alone. I believe however, within you lies an innate and powerful motivation to move towards personal growth.

Therapy can be an effective means of discovering and reconnecting with your personal and unique strengths. It takes courage to share your struggles with another. Together, we will explore those dynamics keeping you stuck as well as those that are working.

I provide a safe, nurturing and non-judgmental environment for you to explore aspects of your past and present, which might be keeping you from living the life you imagined. I can assist you in taking gradual and courageous steps towards gaining a deeper self-awareness and personal growth. Together we will explore a path towards creating the life you desire and becoming the person you envision yourself to be.

Whether you’re a writer, artist, musician or performer, it’s natural to come up against obstacles that get in the way of your creativity. Creativity Coaching can help guide you through the challenges that artists are often confronted with, both personally and professionally. Having another person to be accountable to and who can introduce new tools and techniques can help you break free from creative block.

Although Creativity Coaching is not therapy, part of the process is to figure out how aspects such as anxiety, self-doubt and negative self-talk can hinder your creativity. Unlike therapy, creativity coaching focuses on meeting you where you’re at and identifies what steps to take in order move you closer to your goals. I can assist in bringing your artistic visions to life and help you reach your creative potential.
