Lisa
A. Riley, MA, LMFT
Lisa is a Creativity Coach
and licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She has spent the
last nine years working with creative individuals such as artists,
actors, designers, musicians, writers, and actors. She has helped
to empower clients to take steps towards enhancing their creativity
and move closer to becoming the artist they envisioned themselves
to be.
"I believe everyone
was born with the innate desire to be creative beings and has
the ability to tap into their creative potential."
Prior to her career as a Creativity Coach, Lisa
received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Art
Center College of Design in Pasadena. Upon graduating she worked
as a graphic designer for over 17 years with clients like Toyota,
Nestle, Disney, Kaiser Permanente, Nissan and Deloitte & Touche,
to name a few.
Having years of experience working in a corporate environment as
well as being an entrepreneur, she understands the challenges of
running a creative business and pursuing
an artistic profession.
Deciding to return to one of her original passions, she obtained
a Masters in Psychology. Since then she has integrated both creativity
and psychology by providing Creativity Coaching to other artists
and creative individuals.
Her background in psychology has increased her understanding of
the creative personality and how the artist’s ongoing creative
expression is essential to their well-being.
With her background as an artist, dancer, designer
and writer along with her exploration of the creative process, she
understands the unique challenges of pursuing an artistic life and
profession.
Lisa is also currently a member and instructor at the Creativity
Coaching Association where she has studied and trained under
established Creativity Coaches Beverly
Down and Eric
Maisel.
She has also written various articles on topics pertaining to creative
process and living a creative life. Her articles have been published
on sites such as Creative-Portal.com,

SelfGrowth.com,
Highlysensitive.org
and TalentDevelop.com.
Lisa continues to express her own creativity through her oil painting,
visual journaling, photography and writing.
